Larger pores.
Oilier skin.
A combination of oily and dry skin.
Ombre Powder Brows offer a more natural healing process, particularly on oilier skin types with larger pores. They often appear more natural than microblading.

Preparing for a cosmetic procedure like Ombre Powder Brows is essential to ensure optimal results and a smooth healing. Here is a guide:
Consultation:
Meet with your artist beforehand to discuss your expectations, understand the procedure, and address any concerns.
Ask any questions you have about the process, aftercare, and potential risks.
Avoid Blood Thinners:
Refrain from consuming alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain vitamins (like Vitamin E) for a few days leading up to the procedure, as they can increase bleeding and bruising.
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Minimize sun exposure and tanning beds for a couple of weeks before the procedure. Sunburned or tanned skin can affect the procedure's outcome.
Avoid Certain Treatments:
Avoid waxing, tweezing, or tinting your eyebrows in the days leading up to the procedure. Your artist will shape your brows as part of the process.
Stay Hydrated:
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin tends to heal better.
Plan Your Schedule:
Ombre Powder Brows is generally straightforward, it's a good idea to avoid excessive sweating, and swimming for a few days post-procedure.
Wash Your Face:
On the day of the procedure, ensure that your face is clean and free from makeup, lotions, or creams.
Discuss Aftercare:
Familiarize yourself with post-procedure care instructions. This might include avoiding water on the treated area for a certain period, applying recommended ointments, and not picking at any scabs or flaking.
Enjoy your new brows:
It's natural to feel a bit nervous before any procedure. Trust that your artist is certified and values the details to ensure a beautiful outcome!

The day of your Ombre Powder Brows appointment can be both exciting and a tad nerve-wracking if you're unsure of what to expect. Here's a general overview of what typically happens during the appointment:
Arrival and Check-in:
Arrive a few minutes early to fill out any necessary paperwork or consent forms if you haven't done so already.
Consultation and Design:
Your artist will discuss your desired brow shape, color, and overall look. They might use makeup pencils or stencils to outline the desired shape on your brows, allowing you to preview the outcome.
Preparation:
The brow area will be cleaned to ensure it's free from oils, makeup, or any residues.
Some practitioners might apply a numbing cream to minimize discomfort. This cream typically takes 20-30 minutes to take effect.
Procedure:
Once the numbing cream has taken effect, the actual procedure will begin.
Using a specialized tool or machine, your artist will deposit the pigment into the skin in a series of small dots or shading motions, creating the desired ombre effect.
Throughout the procedure, you can expect to feel some pressure and possibly a scratching sensation, but with the numbing cream, most clients report minimal discomfort.
Duration:
The length of the procedure can vary based on the artist's technique, the intricacy of the design, and individual factors. Typically, the entire process can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.
Immediate Aftercare:
Once the procedure is complete, your artist will provide you with specific aftercare instructions.
They might apply a soothing gel or ointment to the treated area and provide you with any necessary aftercare products or guidelines.
Check the Results:
Before you leave, your artist will show you the results and ensure you're satisfied with the shape and color. Remember, the color will appear darker initially but will soften and lighten during the healing process.
Payment and Scheduling:
You'll settle any outstanding payments and might schedule a follow-up appointment for a touch-up if necessary (this is common for many permanent makeup procedures).
Post-Appointment Care:
Once home, follow the provided aftercare instructions diligently. This might include avoiding water on the brows, applying ointment, avoiding makeup, and refraining from picking at any scabs.
Remember, while the procedure is relatively straightforward, everyone's experience can vary based on pain tolerance, skin sensitivity, and individual healing processes. Always communicate with your artist about any concerns or questions you may have before, during, or after the appointment.

Evaluation of Previous Work:
If the previous procedure was tattooing or microblading, assess how well the pigment has held up over time. Fading, discoloration, or unevenness from past procedures can impact the results of a new one.
If you've had a previous cosmetic tattoo, please email us a photo before booking. Overly saturated tattoos may not be workable. We only offer touch-ups for our own clients; new clients must book a new procedure.
